Sara is a Virginia native who moved to Colorado in 1995. She earned her undergraduate degree in Sports Medicine at the University of Virginia and her Masters in Physical Therapy at the Medical College of Virginia. She is a Certified Athletic Trainer, Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Kinesio Taping Practitioner. In addition, she is an Ayurvedic Health Consultant, trained at the Chopra Center University in California. Sara specializes in Orthopedic Manual Therapy including spinal manipulation and Trigger Point Dry Needling, as well as treatment of sports injuries, Women’s Health issues and TMJ problems.

Sara enjoys the challenge of figuring out complicated patients. She believes in making sure each patient plays an active role in their own recovery because “the only way you are going to be ‘fixed” is to own your problems and be a part of the solution.” Sara opened Jointworx Physical Therapy and Massage at the Edwards location in 2004. She lives and plays in Edwards with her two children. Sara stays active throughout the year with biking, yoga, snowboarding, and skate-skiing.
