Claire grew up in Rockville, Maryland where she was a competitive gymnast for 10 years. After several injuries which ended her gymnastics career, she decided to follow her dream to move West and attended college at the University of California, San Diego. She obtained her B.S. in Human Biology while learning to surf and developed a passion for long distance running. She decided to pursue a career in Physical Therapy to help others recover from injuries and maintain their active lifestyles. She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh where she worked with people of all ages and abilities. She has a special interest in balance training as well as overuse injury prevention. She has experience working with orthopedic injuries as well as neurological rehabilitation which includes concussion, vestibular, Parkinson’s, and Multiple Sclerosis. She moved out to the Vail Valley in 2017 and is absolutely loving it. You’ll find her out hiking, camping, skiing, rock climbing, and exploring the Rocky Mountains.
