Kinesio TapingThe Kinesio Taping method was founded by Dr. Kenzo Kase in 1979. It is used by medical practitioners and athletes worldwide. Kinesio Tex tape is a stretchy tape that allows for full range of motion. Depending on the direction and the tension applied to the tape, it can assist or inhibit muscles, support joints or decrease edema and inflammation. It is helpful for conditions such as tendinitis, bursitis, arthritis and lymphedema.

The water-resistant tape is well-tolerated for up to 2-3 days at a time, even with workouts and showers. The adhesive is hypoallergenic and the tape is latex-free, so skin irritation is rare. Optimal results can be expected when applied by a trained Kinesio Taping Practitioner.
