Abby Youngen

Abby is a Virginia native from Fairfax Station, just west of Washington DC. She earned her undergraduate degree in Health and Exercises Science from Bridgewater College, while competing on the women’s swim team. She and her fiancé then moved to Miami where she graduated from the University of St. Augustine with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Abby practices yoga and pilates, often incorporating them into her therapy style. She enjoys working with patients who have an orthopedic or over use injury, neuromuscular conditions, or pediatric conditions. Abby welcomes the opportunity to work with all age groups. She utilizes a whole body approach which includes manual therapy techniques along with therapeutic exercises and patient education. By teaching her patients how to strengthen their entire body, she empowers them to take control of their therapy and reach their goals in the clinic and at home.

Abby and her fiancé Austin have decided to make Colorado their new home. They love to ski/snowboard, hike, camp, and spend time outside with their husky Bonnie. Abby is very excited to adventure and experience all that Vail Valley has to offer, and serve its community.
