David Cimino is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Clinical Director of the Edwards facility. He offers traditional therapies and strategies for injury prevention, programming for physical conditioning and fitness, and new and emerging treatments, as well. He has specialty experience and training as a Sports Clinical Specialist, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He is an ImPACT-trained therapist in post-concussive syndrome, performs Functional Dry Needling, vestibular rehabilitation, and pre/post-operative rehabilitation.

Dave earned his doctor of physical therapy degree from Northeastern University in Boston in 2011 and completed a sports clinical specialization residency at Vail Health. He was raised in New York but his passion for the outdoors led him to Colorado over a decade ago and now calls Eagle County his home.

Dave has always valued an active lifestyle and his care philosophy is to enable individuals to stay active as long as they’d like. He loves to work one-on-one with his patients, and values the opportunity to assist people in improving their quality of life.

“I feel it is my role to be a patient advocate, enable patients to take ownership of their rehabilitation, and provide a supportive environment in guiding individuals to meet their goals,” says Dave.

In Dave’s leisure time he is likely outdoors alpine skiing, mountain biking, hiking with his family, or playing hockey.
